Hey there, I'm Nicole!

For as long as I can remember, I've been the friend that always takes too many photos. Before an iPhone was a thing, I carried around a digital camera (Anyone remember those?) and would take pictures of anything and everything. I loved to capture my friends, myself, and just document life.

In the fall of 2019, pretty much on a whim, I bought my first "real" camera. Soon after that, Nicole Parker Photography was born. I found out that I had a knack for being creative and helping even the most shy clients feel comfortable in front of a camera. I honestly never thought I would be a wedding photographer. But after doing my very first, I realized an entire career had literally stumbled upon me. Weddings make me feel challenged, joyful, creative, and like I'm right where I should be.

When I'm not taking your pictures, I'm hanging out with my husband, Ben, going on a walk, journaling, or exploring Austin with friends.

Will We Be a Good Fit?

If I've learned anything in the wedding field, it's that the personality of your photographer matters. It's not uncommon that you spend more time with your photographer on your wedding day than your spouse! Selecting your photographer carefully - not just for their work, but for who they are is incredibly important.

Whether it's a wedding or a portrait session, I aim to make my clients feel comfortable in front of the camera. You're not supposed to worry about what to do with your hands or where to look - that's my job! I want you to feel like your photos capture the essence of you. That's why you'll notice my style is a blend of documentary and posed. I will help you know how to pose, and I also aim to simply capture your day as it happens. Your photos will be high quality, whimsical, and timeless.
