Welcome to Lydia & Johnny's Wedding Day at Hummingbird Hill in Chappell Hill, Texas

There is truly so much to love about Hummingbird Hill. They have a beautiful chapel if you want your ceremony indoors with a stained glass window I adore. Lydia & Johnny chose to have their ceremony outside, and the clouds gave us just enough coverage that even in the Texas summer, it actually felt just fine!

If you're not familiar with the venue yet, Hummingbird Hill is located in Chappell Hill, Texas, just outside the Houston-Austin corridor, and it's such a dream to photograph. With the capacity to have both indoor and outdoor ceremony options, couples really get to choose what they like! Between the barn, the chapel, and the grounds, there's a little bit of everything for couples who want options for both their ceremony and reception.

Something I especially loved about their day was the florals Lydia & Johnny chose. As you can see below, they helped make for the most beautiful detail shots. Their florist, Blue Hummingbird Designs was phenomenal! Lydia was also in love with her hair and makeup. They were detail oriented and made sure she was happy with the final product and helped with touch ups later in the day. Shout out to Glowee by Huong Mua!

The staff at Hummingbird Hill will bring the animals out for bride and groom portraits if desired, and it's so FUN. There's something so sweet about capturing photos as a newly wed with farm animals. :)

Lydia & Johnny's family and friends were hilarious from start to end, and that definitely shows in the photos. Personality was not lacking in this bridal group!!

Getting Ready

The morning started calm and easy, with Lydia and her bridesmaids getting ready together and just soaking in the little moments before everything kicked into gear. There's nothing like the quiet excitement of a bride putting the finishing touches on before she sees everyone.
